There are careers, and then there are callings. At RSPCA Queensland, we see animals at their most vulnerable - the frightened, the forgotten, the brave. Our veterinarians are the steady hands and compassionate hearts behind every recover, every second change, every happy ending, and sometimes, the peaceful goodbyes.

This role calls for both skill and soul. It asks for resilience, teamwork, and a deep belief in the difference one person can make. In return, it offers something few careers can, purpose, perspective, and the chance to create genuine, meaningful change every single day.
